Note that that last update makes much more "adversarial" story-generation possible. By default, most AI models tend to treat the user too nicely, resulting in rather uninteresting stories where nothing bad can happen to you as the main character. I've found adding something like the following to the system prompt can make for much more interesting adventures:
"Bad things can happen to the user, and should, wherever they fit the narrative flow of the story. Characters are often unkind and selfish in their actions to one another and to the user, and, if there are conflicts or problems, the user will sometimes lose and/or suffer negative consequences."
